Meet Amy

A little bit about me....I am a nurse practitioner who specialized in emergency medicine and have been practicing since 2007. I am a masters educated family nurse practitioner that is ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center) board certified. I have additional certifications in ACLS, ATLS, BLS, ENPC, PALS, TNCC. 

My favorite part about medicine is the people. I found that I had become dissatisfied with the changing healthcare system. As providers, we are constrained by guidelines that are unreasonable and take time away from the patient. No two patient's are the same. Every patient has unique needs, wants and life goals. I hear over and over that patient's feel unheard and rushed. I hope to alleviate some of this and give you back some control in the care you receive. Your time is important and valuable. More importantly you need someone who will listen and work with you to achieve your health goals. 

That is why I decided to create my unique healthcare platform. Oasis Health & Wellness, LLC is a healthcare platform that allows me to provide the care I believe you deserve not one dictated by numbers people behind a desk. I will not provide care based on numbers goals to be met, but rather what you and I decide will give you the best outcome. Oasis Health & Wellness, LLC is designed to give you back your valuable time, maintain your privacy in your home and get you back to your life. 

Meet Sandra

I have been an RN for over 30 years and NP since 2015. My background is primarily in critical care; I have over 20 years in the ER with ICU and cardiac cath lab. I have a Masters degree in nursing with an emphasis in family nurse practitioner. I am certified by ANCC (American Nurse Credentialing Center).

I have always been drawn to caring for people. I have an intense learning desire for medicine and the human body. Taking care of the critically ill has always been what I have been drawn to; to understand what was happening with those patients and having the knowledge to deliver the highest quality care they could get, all while having an incredible sense of satisfaction seeing my patients improve due to my intervention.

Over the changing years in healthcare, my degree of satisfaction has unfortunately diminished due to many reasons, most beyond my control. I wanted to recapture the feeling of being satisfied and feeling like I made a difference somehow. Being able to spend time with patients was what made the difference, and making them feel important and appreciated.

My friend and colleague Amy Hawk and I met in grad school. We became fast friends and have maintained our friendship to this day. We've had countless conversations about the dissatisfaction we had with hospital-based nursing. Amy's idea for Oasis intrigued me, and after taking a Botox class, we had a dream of providing the type of care to people we feel they deserve.

I am thrilled to be a part of Oasis and to help everyone reach their goals!
